To read a summary of a POA Board Meeting, click on the appropriate date in the drop down menu of “Board Meeting Summaries” above.  Please note that these are intended to be brief, readable summaries of significant items and will not cover all items that were on the agenda.  Also, please note that I try not to repeat information sent to property owners in Board communications; whether Splinters e-mails or others.  Instead, I try to give the community more detailed information on significant items; so that anyone interested in these issues can learn more than they would elsewhere.

ABOUT THIS SITE

This site is not sponsored by or related in any way to the POA Board or our management company. It is simply my unofficial effort to disseminate information to the community at large by providing summary information of significant issues discussed at Board meetings.  My goal is to provide brief, accurate, relevant information that can be easily understood. Where necessary, I try to provide helpful background information in separate papers.

To the extent I editorialize (which will not happen that often), those comments are appropriately flagged, and the words are italicized.  Everything else represents what I felt was said in the meeting.  I will paraphrase concepts if I feel they will be more easily understood; especially when summarizing pros and cons of an issue that was discussed in a meeting. I try not to show my agreement or disagreement over items discussed and will confine such comments, if any, to the editorial section of the site.

I am trying to provide enough information so that readers can make their own informed judgements and come to their own conclusions.  If you have views an any issue (positive or negative) which you wish the Board to hear, I suggest you communicate with them directly.  You are welcome to e-mail me with questions, but e-mailing your opinions to me will not do much good.  Those need to go to the Board members.

If you like the site and wish e-mail notifications of new postings, please subscribe by entering your address above on the left.  You will need to respond to the site-generated e-mail to confirm your subscription.  If you don’t get that e-mail, please contact me using the e-mail address below.  Postings will probably occur no more than once or twice a month.  No e-mail addresses will be shared in any way whatsoever.  (Heck; I can’t even find the addresses in this system.  All I will know is how many people subscribe).
