IMPORTANT – Please read these notes before you go to the questions
There are five candidates running for three openings. However, there are only four Q&A summaries listed below. Jim LoFrese, who is one of the candidates, declined to provide answers to these questions.
If you take the time to carefully read the answers, you may find that some candidates represent your views better than others. Please determine who best represents your views and consider that as you vote. And please try to make sure that everybody you know votes as well. If we want to ensure that the Board represents the views of the owners, we need to get as many people as possible to vote.
Many of these questions deal with very specific issues that I believe are of interest to community members. All of these have been discussed at Board level over the past two years, and there have often been differing views. If you wish additional information as to why I have included a particular question, please feel free to contact me ([email protected]).
- Questions are in italicized brown type. Answers are in black type.
- Question 7 deals with Closed Sessions and Executive Sessions. In our POA, these are two different concepts. I kept the introduction short, but it still may require further background information. If so, please read the summary I posted last March which can be found here: Executive Sessions Also, I recommend that you read the two resolutions referenced in the question. If you want to know what they allow, it is best to read them yourself. Links to each resolution can be found in the question.
If you feel any answer is not clear, you can judge the answer accordingly or, if you wish, contact the candidate directly.
Each candidate’s answers are separate. Therefore, each link will bring up only that candidate’s answers. The questions in each document are the same. I have listed names in alphabetical order:
Thanks for taking the time to review this information, and I hope you find it useful.
If you find reading these answers to be worthwhile and believe others should have access to them, please send the link to this page to your contacts.
Once the POA posts candidate information on the web site, I will include a link here.
